History of the Company

Inventive Media began operation as a video production company in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in December of 1993.  It is owned and managed by Matt Larsen, a native of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.  Since that time, several other video and computer related services have been added making Inventive Media a full fledged multimedia production house.  In February of 1995, the company moved from Scottsbluff to  the metropolitan area of Fort Collins, Colorado and was a primary contributor to the Larimer County Business Showcase.  In October 1996, Inventive Media moved back to Scottsbluff and continues to pursue the goal of bringing technology to the North Platte Valley.  In addition to video production, Inventive Media also handles computer sales and service, advanced computer consulting, web page design and hosting and, in cooperation of sister company Scottsbluff Networx, Internet services from dialup accounts to high speed connections.

Inventive Media has produced promotional videos for Platte Valley Community Development Initiative, Panhandle Coop, Twin Cities Development, Kurt Manufacturing and the cities of Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska.  Inventive Media also produces a series of instructional videos, including the Internet Explained on Internet related-topics.

Inventive Media also handles Domain Websites for Panhandle Coop, Aulick Industries, Copperfield Books, ABS Computers, Regional West Medical Center, and more.  Business accounts include smaller businesses in the Scottsbluff/Gering area.  Website design is also handled by Inventive Media’s webmaster.

Normal Business Hours

Normal business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday, Mountain Time.  Saturday’s hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and special hours can be structured  to meet the neesd of our clients.

Terms

NET 15 DAYS.  We must add a monthly service charge to the total balance for those accounts more than 30 days past due.  Accounts more than 60 days past due are dealt with on a C.O.D. basis until the balance is cleared.

Payment

For videos, payment is made at three stages of production.  An initial deposit of 15% of the total cost of the production is made when a contract is signed.  After approval of the script and the conclusion of shooting, another payment of 50% is required.  The balance of the amount is paid upon completion and approval of the project.  Other arrangements can be made for rush jobs and projects under $500 in total cost.

Company Lien

All master materials are accepted by Inventive Media under the express condition that Inventive Media holds a lien against those materials for the general balance due the company from the customer.  Upon full payment, title to such materials may be released to the customer subject to any conditions as may have been separately agreed upon.  The customer is held liable under applicable law for any broadcasting or other public performance of the materials before full payment has been received.

Copyright

By contracting with Inventive Media to provide various audiovisual services, the customer agrees to hold Inventive Media, its employees, suppliers, and contracted persons not responsible and without risk or liability in any suits, claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses regarding violation of copyright laws or any infringement of copyrights or performance rights.  All productions, services and duplications are undertaken by Inventive Media with the express understanding that the customer has legal right, either by ownership or legal permission of the copyright holder, to use the master materials.

Warranty

All audiovisual materials produced by Inventive Media are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from delivery date.  Repair or replacement of such materials will be made at no charge to the customer.
